Indian education has traditionally been one-dimensional — a student is judged entirely by exam marks. But marks don't capture the full picture: Is the student participating in class? Are they consistent with homework? How is their attendance trending? Are they engaged in co-curricular activities?

The National Education Policy 2020 explicitly calls for holistic assessment — evaluating students across academic, co-curricular, behavioral, and social dimensions. EdPayU's Student Insights module makes this vision practical and data-driven.

One of the most powerful insights is the correlation between attendance and academic performance. EdPayU analyzes this relationship across the school, class, and individual student level, providing evidence like "students with 90%+ attendance score 25% higher than those below 80%."

This data is invaluable for parent-teacher meetings. Instead of saying "Your child should attend more regularly," teachers can show data: "Aarav's attendance in Science is 68%, and his Science marks have dropped 15% over the last two exams. Here's the trend chart."

EdPayU combines all student data points — declining attendance, falling grades, incomplete homework, behavioral changes — to identify students who may be at risk of academic failure or dropping out. The system generates a "Risk Score" that helps schools prioritize intervention.
