Every institution has documents that people frequently ask about: leave policies, admission procedures, fee structures, textbook content, exam schedules, prospectus, handbooks. Traditionally, answering these questions requires finding the right document, searching through it, and extracting the relevant information.

With Ask Vayu's Knowledge Base, institutions upload their documents once. The system automatically indexes and organizes your content. When anyone asks a question like "what is the fee refund policy?" or "explain photosynthesis", the AI retrieves the most relevant passages and synthesizes a clear, accurate answer — citing the source document.

AI costs money — and unlimited usage could spiral. EdPayU provides granular rate limiting at two levels: a monthly query limit per institution (default 50,000) and a daily limit per user (default 50). Both limits are fully configurable from the admin dashboard.

This means an institution of 500 users with 50 queries/day per user and 50,000 monthly queries has ample capacity for regular use while preventing abuse. Admins can increase or decrease limits based on their plan and budget.
